Patrick had the opportunity to work with Washington DC based Public Relations firm August Jackson recently to photograph some of the Americorps Volunteer sites in New York City for their 2013 promotional material. Two days were spent in the outer boroughs of the city visiting some ‘High Risk’ schools where an Seniorcorp funded “foster grandparent” program takes place, after school programs with youth Americorps volunteers and a Queens courthouse where a prominent judge works with veterans who have served over seas as far back as the Vietnam War.
