The Rainbow Room

What’s so great about it?

The Rainbow Room is probably one of the most talked-about NYC corporate event venues.  Whether it is for an intimate corporate event, wedding or any other special occasion, the space can be turned into anything you need.  We have photographed plenty of corporate events there and seen it set up for private wine and tequila tastings with the bars shifting around the room.  If you can be there for sunset you will be in for a treat with both the beauty of Manhattan out the windows and the light dancing through the crystals that line the windows creating the rainbows that the space is famous for.  An event at the Rainbow Room will no doubt impress your clients and colleagues alike.

What else is close by?

Located at 30 Rockefeller Center it may be one of the most convenient corporate event spaces in NYC.  With the B, D, F, and M in the basement and a short walk in any direction for your train of choice, there will be no complaints at the end of the evening.  The Concourse below Rockefeller Center offers plenty of options for things to do with any spare time, and of course, depending on the season, the outdoor elements of Rockefeller Plaza are not to be missed.

What’s so great about it?

The Plaza Hotel is a staple in NYC, their event spaces are as incredible as you might imagine.  The Ballroom one thousand people, making it an ideal space for a gala or investors meeting.  The marble work and masonry are truly spectacular when you are in the space, you know you are somewhere special.  The lighting and seating can be adjusted for the mood and everyone will have a view of the stage for your evening keynote speaker.

What else is close by?

The Plaza is directly across the street from Central Park, while this NYC corporate event venue is a little bit outside of mainstream Midtown Manhattan, it is full of history dating back to the early 1900s if you like to walk around and take it all in.  If you’d rather go shopping you are still in luck, the underground of the Plaza is loaded with some of your favorite boutiques.

What’s so great about it?

The space is perfect for a large corporate event or conference, with spaces for panel discussions, live music or a simple dinner and cocktails, it is versatile as well as convenient for attendees.  In addition to the Appel Room, the rest of the Time Warner Center has plenty of fabulous spaces.

What else is close by?

The Appel Room is in the heart of Columbus Circle, very convenient for the 1, 2, A, B, C and D train, a walk across the street to Central Park and right above The Shops at Columbus Circle giving you guests plenty of transit options and things to do in their spare time.

What’s so great about it?

The Kimpton Hotel Eventi is a well-kept secret, NYC  corporate event spaces are a dime a dozen and this one really shines.  Located on 6th Avenue between 29th and 30th street, the space is a commuters dream.  On a nice summer evening, the indoor/outdoor space gives you a bit of fresh air only available on a rooftop in Manhattan.  With a 30 foot wide screen across the street to promote your event and brand, it is something not seen anywhere else.  The wine and food menu are just the icing on the cake for this space.

What else is close by?

Most people wouldn’t consider Penn Station much of an attraction, but anyone who is at your event for the evening and has to head back to New Jersey or Long Island after it will be pleased as it’s a quick 5-minute walk away.  Also nearby is Macy’s Herald Square, so be sure to take a walk past the windows on your wat to or from he event space.

What’s so great about it?

Have you ever thought about renting out the MoMA as a corporate event space?  You should.  The space is incredible, indoor, outdoor and two levels of entertaining goodness.  Fortunately for your insurance company, their is not much art in the space, but the space it self lives up to what you would expect from MoMA, modern, elegant and airy.

What else is close by?

MoMA is in the heart of midtown, a short walk from Times Square, the trip home from the event will be a breeze.  If you’re at the MoMa you should not worry about what else is close by, spend your extra time there checking out the new pieces!

Gotham Hall is located in the space that was once the Greenwich Savings Bank.  It is an incredible space to host a corporate event in, it has a 9,000 square foot main space, but feels even more massive due to the 70 foot ceilings, skylights and chandeliers that are a wonder to look at.  A very unique and impressive event venue in the heard of NYC that is unlike the rest.
