New York City’s latest transplant arrived in the city today deciding to ride atop a 747 rather than inside. With the conclusion of NASA’s shuttle program announced, NASA’s Space Shuttle Enterprise flew up and down the Hudson getting a sneak peak at its future home, the deck of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The weather cooperated after multiple postponements and it provided the perfect opportunity to produce some once-in-a-lifetime images. After the flyby, the shuttle landed at JFK where it will wait to be shipped up the Hudson River this summer to its new home.

Recently while photographing a group of Analysts at a financial firm down on Wall Street, we were approached by their head of Corporate Communications to see if we could possibly shoot some of their board members in a handful of settings so they could use them in various outlets. We pulled together a standard portrait on a background as well as a couple of more relaxed environmental portraits and a couple of posed working shots. Filling the quota of multiple photos for all types of use and squeezing it all into a 45 minute session. Mission complete.

We have some traditions here at Camera One, when Winter rolls around(or at least when it is supposed to…) get ready to shoot a yearly group photo or two. Here is this years example of just that, every year we pack up our gear and make our way over to the Harvard Club to shoot a group photo and 2011 was no different than 2010, 2009, 2008 etc.
With that we’d like to wish a great holiday to our friends, colleagues and clients! See you in 2012! Risperdal

The crew recently headed up to White Plains to photograph a group of executives. While shooting, the companies Creative Director requested that we also get some “action shots” of the team working in a conference room for their website. Without a second thought, we went to it and this is one of the images from the last second session. Abana1pc

Normally the thought of scheduling a shoot for 7:30am in late October means there will be a very good chance of a heavy coat and hot coffee nearby. This year, we are thankful to be enjoying an extended summer. Larry scheduled a shoot for the early morning and weather was on his side, over 50 degrees on 42nd Street just across from Grand Central Terminal, we’ll take it.
Though of course, a few short days later we were hit with a snowstorm… New York can be so fickle. viagra

Patrick had the opportunity to shoot an event at Manhattans Gotham Hall recently. While scouting the hall out prior to the event starting, he captured this image of the interior of the rounded building.

By now you’ve surely heard the news of Amazon’s new Kindle, the Fire. Larry was on hand photographing the event after receiving a call from the PR company handling the launch. Here is Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos discussing his new product.

We recently had the opportunity to shoot on the roof of the 1155 Avenue of the Americas and the view up there was awesome. Larry caught this shot of the heads of a firm based in the top floors of the building moments before it was no longer light enough to shoot.
