Recently while photographing a group of Analysts at a financial firm down on Wall Street, we were approached by their head of Corporate Communications to see if we could possibly shoot some of their board members in a handful of settings so they could use them in various outlets. We pulled together a standard portrait on a background as well as a couple of more relaxed environmental portraits and a couple of posed working shots. Filling the quota of multiple photos for all types of use and squeezing it all into a 45 minute session. Mission complete.

Normally the thought of scheduling a shoot for 7:30am in late October means there will be a very good chance of a heavy coat and hot coffee nearby. This year, we are thankful to be enjoying an extended summer. Larry scheduled a shoot for the early morning and weather was on his side, over 50 degrees on 42nd Street just across from Grand Central Terminal, we’ll take it.
Though of course, a few short days later we were hit with a snowstorm… New York can be so fickle. viagra

Larry was the mind behind this photo. Assisted by Jeff and Patrick, Larry walked into this assignment ready to go, with the location scouted and shots planned things were all set… Until the scouted locations we unavailable and only 20 minutes was left before the shot had to go off. This is where the quick thinking and extra gear comes in handy. Larry opted to shoot towards a hallway, and we would throw some warmer orange light into the rooms leading down the hallway as to not let it fall dark leading to this final image.

Once again Jeff was presented with the problem of needing an environmental type portrait, only the client lacked a location with environment. Without a second thought, Jeff pulled a few things together and created this environment within our studio space. Working within our boundaries and the clients budget, we kept them happy and made an incredible photo.

Larry had the opportunity to photography a few people at the IAC Building in Chelsea which was designed by award winning architect Frank Gehry. It was hard to choose just one photo from the set. In that stunning environment, everything looks good.
