When a client only has one day available to shoot a photo, you have to work with the elements. Even if the elements are working against you. We shot this photo in Times Square with the CEO of DHL as well as a Rugby player that DHL sponsors. It was pouring rain, but the only time that everyone would be in New York at the same time, so with umbrellas in hand and bags covering the flashes used to light the shot, we made due and ended up with a great shot in times square with the saturated colors that the rain often brings to New York. While shooting some B Roll for a TV Commercial, Jeff captured this trumpet player in the moment.

With this years Earth Day celebrating kicking off in Times Square, Jeff headed down from out Studio(conviniently located just an avenue away) to cover the event and capture some great images. Pictured here is 2011′s Miss America Teresa Scanlin with the trash crew.

While covering a companies ‘Town Hall Meeting’ Jeff shot from outside the box, taking a few steps back and getting low, with the crowd in the foreground making for this strong image of his subject.

Once again Jeff was presented with the problem of needing an environmental type portrait, only the client lacked a location with environment. Without a second thought, Jeff pulled a few things together and created this environment within our studio space. Working within our boundaries and the clients budget, we kept them happy and made an incredible photo.

Although it has been a heavy snow winter, we chugged along into the New Year without missing a beat. At Camera 1 we won’t let the weather have an ill effect on our schedule. Jeff recently made it to one of Manhattan’s most prestigious clubs to photograph this group

Recently one of our clients came to us with a request, the needed one of their Executives photographed, wanted it to look like it was shot on location, but have him drop by the studio rather than us lugging our gear up to them. After a few minutes of thinking Jeff and Larry put together this shot, and if I wasn’t here as it developed, I would have not even realized what they did and how they did it.

Often times when our clients relocate, or re decorate we are brought in to photograph their new spaces. Both to show the space and to show the graphic elements incorporated into the design. Here Jeff was in the west tower of an anonymous building and came across this view while looking up on his way through the lobby.
